No Pregnancy, No Marital Rites

A family with the acceptance of the supposed born again Bro gave a verdict that;
No Pregnancy, No Marital Rite!
Reason: elder brother’s wife is yet to be pregnant after years of marriage and they don’t want a repeat.
And sister is contemplating of doing the “do” so bro would not slip away.
If you are in this kind of situation dear Sister, you have not yet found the man whose missing rib you are carrying.
If after months of waiting for you to get pregnant despite several “pourings” and the thing refused to come what will happen? He leaves you for another abi! Yoruba will say “ti e gbe”.
God cannot be mocked… you don’t start your marriage on a premise of testing the waters before diving in and you expect a smooth ride.
When His word says marriage should be honourable to all and the bed undefiled, why do you want to disobey?
Disobedience is likened to the sin of witchcraft.
Do you think God didn’t know that delay in conception might occur for some people?
He knew but expect us to exercise FAITH. Surrendering your life to Jesus is by Faith.
The fact that Bro had the mouth to talk it and encouraged the act should have told you he isn’t born; by their fruit(Love, Joy Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control) you shall know them.
For those who have given in to this evil verdict from their would be in laws, it is better to retrace your steps back to God and plead for mercy now than to go into that marriage without the blessing of your Father in heaven.
Bro, why fret, why sin against God? Why connive with you family to place unnecessary load on our dear sister?
God already assured you in Psalm128:3 that your wife would be like a fruitful vine in the VERY HEART of YOUR HOUSE.
Finally sisters, please place a great worth on yourself.

If he wants to go because you are refusing to succumb, fine. It is Good Riddance to Bad Rubbish!
That you are advanced in age should not push you to sin against God; He does not forget His daughters. The Bible says He settles the lonely in families.
